The above fix, you will need to find the link in one of the other forum posts, shouldn't be all that hard to find for the DX wrapper. For DS1 it was the joypad.txt, DS2 was the HID issue for. Just disable it, don't uninstall as it will just revert back later on. Second HID-compliant game controller was my issue, for my Xbox One Controller. If you get the look up glitch, take a look at your device manager and find HID Human interface device I used the wrapper and that just caused a flashing texture or light issue so the ADK was my next route. After you install the database it will automatically apply this fix each time you launch the game. There is a test run option you can click to attempt launching the game before you actually save the fix to see if it works, but after you save the database you will need to click install from the file menu. Now the fix will automatically be applied whenever the game is launched. The cause of this issue is not entirely clear, but it seems to be related to the game's use of a save system that relies on the player's console or PC's hard drive. Save the database from the Database menu and give it a name when prompted. In compatibility fixes select ProcessorCountLieForHybridCPU. Skip past the compatibility mode options. Provide the full path of the DS2.exe and give it a name of choosing. Launch the 32-bit version and select the new database under custom databases.Ĭlick the database menu > Create New > Application Fix. Hope that helps 1 Cryiox 3:44am Thats definitely. Close and restart the game, remove the txt file if you no long want dev mode on. During installation Windows ADK gives the option to select multiple tools, the only one needed is Compatibility Administrator. From the dev menu select > Assests > player > Revive instantly upon player death. ![]() Set Windows to automatically limit the game to one CPU core (for Windows 10 and 11) (see below) Link below for the ADK, if you want to use the ADK route. It might need the wrapper or you need to do the ADK fix, I have an intel 16 core laptop and had to use the ADK as DS2 has a problem with systems with a lot of cores I think (I might be wrong), but I got the black screen loading, spinning cursor then booted back to windows.
